Evening Retreat for Music Ministers

As music ministers, have you ever imagined that you, yourself, were proclaiming the healing Word of God through your gift of song? It is true! Music ministers are teachers and messengers of the Gospel through their ability to animate the spoken word and infuse it into the hearts of the faithful seekers whom they serve. The Church needs leaders in the ministry of music who are grounded in their faith and able to express it with hope and deep joy. We invite you to come and be refreshed in the ministry of music by stepping back to gain perspective and become more aware and grateful for this calling as God's special ministers.
The evening includes dinner, presentation and liturgy in the chapel. NPM members attend at a reduced cost. Pastors are welcome at no charge. Music directors attend free with ten or more choir members.

Clergy - Free
Music directors - Free when registering with a group of 10 or more choir members.

Presenter Profile
Fr. David Cinquegrani, C.P.
Fr. David Cinquegrani, C.P., is retreat director at Holy Family, overseeing the center’s operations, programs, and renowned music ministry. Since entering the Passionist Community in 1989, he has served as a chaplain, music educator and choir director. He currently teaches music at St. Thomas the Apostle and St. Timothy schools in West Hartford. He previously taught music for 20 years at the University of Saint Joseph. He holds Master of Divinity and Master of Liturgical Theology degrees from Catholic Theological Union and B.A. and M.A. degrees in music from Marywood University.
