Le invitamos al retiro de una noche para reflexionar juntos en los frutos de nuestra relación personal y comunitaria con Jesus. Todo el retiro será en español. El retiro comienza a las 6:00 p.m. viernes y concluye el sábado a las 6:00 p.m. Los esperamos en la Casa de Retiro de la Sagrada Familia.

We invite you to an overnight retreat to reflect together on the fruits of our relationship with Jesus -- personal and in community. The entire retreat will be presented in Spanish. It begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday and concludes on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to welcoming you to Holy Family Retreat Center.

Sindy Collazo
Sindy Collazo es la Directora Asociada de Ministerios Hispanos para la Oficina de Espiritualidad Ignaciana, un ministerio de la Provincia del Este de la Compañía de Jesús en los Estados Unidos. Tiene un canal de YouTube, “Un Ratito con Dios,” donde comparte reflexiones semanales, en español, sobre el Evangelio. Anteriormente, ella sirvió como miembro de “Estudios Pastorales para la Nueva Evangelización.” Sindy tiene una Maestría en Teología de Weston Jesuit School of Theology y una Maestría en Administración de Empresas de La Universidad Interamericana.
Sindy Collazo is the Associate Director of Hispanic Ministries at the Office of Ignatian Spirituality, a ministry of the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus. She has a YouTube channel, “Un Ratito con Dios,” in which she shares weekly reflections of the Gospel in Spanish. She previously served as a member of “Estudios Pastorales para la Nueva Evangelización.” She holds a master’s degree in Theology from Weston Jesus School of Theology and an MBA from La Universidad Interamericana.
Ana María Hernández-Alstrum
Ana María Hernández-Alstrum es la Asociada Pastoral para Formación en la Fe en la Parroquia de Sta. Rosa de Lima en Meriden. Sirvió en la Arquidiócesis de Hartford como Directora Arquidiocesana de Catequesis para Hispanos del 2017 al 2020 y ha trabajado como educadora y voluntaria en catequesis y formación en la fe en la Ciudad de México. Ana María tiene una Maestría en Religión y Educación Religiosa con concentración en Estudios Latinos de la Universidad de Fordham.
Ana María Hernández-Alstrum is the Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Meriden. She served as Hartford Archdiocese director for Hispanic catechesis from 2017 to 2020 and has worked as an educator and volunteered in catechesis and faith formation in Mexico City. She holds a master’s in religion and religious education with a concentration in Latino Studies from Fordham University.
El Padre/Fr. James Manship
El Padre James Manship es el pastor de la parroquia de Sta. Rosa de Lima en Meriden. Él estudió Teología en el Seminario St. Mary’s y en la Universidad de Baltimore. Fue ordenado sacerdote en 1998. Tiene un certificado en Dirección Espiritual Ignaciana del Centro Murphy para Espiritualidad Ignaciana de la Universidad de Fairfield y ha completado la Anotación 19 de los Ejercicios Espirituales de San Ignacio de Loyola.
Fr. James Manship is the pastor of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Meriden. He studied theology at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1998. He holds a certificate in Ignatian Spiritual Direction from the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality at Fairfield University and has completed the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
Gisela Silva
Gisela Silva es una Administradora de Casos Intensivos para Caridades Católicas en Fairfield County. También es catequista asistente en entrenamiento de la Catequesis del Buen Pastor en la Iglesia de San José en New Haven. Ha estudiado Dirección Espiritual en la Tradición Ignaciana y es postulante de la Fraternidad Laica de Santo Domingo. Gisela tiene una Maestría en Teología y Ministerio con concentración en Ministerio Hispano de Boston College.
Gisela Silva is an intensive case manager at Catholic Charities of Fairfield County. She is also assistant catechist in training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph Church in New Haven. She has studied spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition and is a postulant for the Lay Fraternity of St. Dominic. She earned a master’s in theology and ministry with a focus on Hispanic Ministry from Boston College.
