Please let us know if you want your gift used for a specific purpose by indicating that purpose either in the memo line or in a note to us.
Gifts of cash are tax-deductible in the year the gift is made.
Important note for those who itemize their taxes: If you itemize your taxes, you may deduct up to 60% of your adjusted gross income on the charitable gifts of cash you make.
The income limit for charitable gifts of cash by C corporations is 10% of taxable income.

Did you know that you can mail a check on December 31st and, even if the check is not received and cashed by Holy Family until after the new year, the IRS will allow you to take a deduction in the year the check was mailed? Keep this in mind for year-end tax planning!
