Join The Center for Spiritual Direction at Holy Family for a Busy Person Retreat—an opportunity to deepen your prayer in the midst of the busyness of everyday life as you prepare for the summit of the Liturgical Year: the Paschal Triduum. This program will meet for one hour per day with individual flexibility to accommodate your busy schedule. The retreat will begin with a group session for orientation on Palm Sunday leading to individual spiritual direction sessions with directors from The Center for Spiritual Direction on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Holy Week. All sessions will be available in person at Holy Family or online via Zoom.

Brenda McLaughlin
Brenda McLaughlin holds an M.A. from Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry as well as Certificates in Spiritual Direction (Franciscan Spiritual Direction Certification Program); The Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises: An Intensive for Spiritual Directors Accompanying Others in the 19th Annotation Retreat (Boston College); and Advanced Biblical Studies (The New England Catholic Biblical School). Brenda’s professional experience also includes teaching in public elementary schools and at the university level, as well as a stint in the corporate world. She has also completed graduate studies in curriculum and instruction (University of Connecticut) and English (University of New Hampshire). Since the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius guide Brenda’s prayer life, she seeks to find God in all things. Brenda grew up on a dairy farm in Western Massachusetts, which has served as good fodder for finding God in all the rest of her life.
