Prayer: Abiding with God
Ash Wednesday Reflection
Wednesday, March 5, 2025
6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Fr. David Cinquegrani, C.P.
"When you pray, go to your room and pray in secret, then God, who sees in secret, will reward you." (Matthew 6:6)
We hear these instructive words on prayer from Matthew's Gospel each year on Ash Wednesday. What is Jesus asking of us during this season of prayer and how can we abide in God's loving mercy as we make our journey with Jesus toward the celebration of the Paschal Mystery? Join Fr. David and the Passionist community at Holy Family as we embark on our Lenten journey together. The day program includes a conference, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch, and the Celebration of the Eucharist during which ashes will be distributed.
The evening of reflection will be offered in-person and online via Zoom and include dinner, a presentation, and Mass. The same program will be offered during the day, in-person only, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Offering: $50
