Looking at Centering Prayer beginning from utter surrender, we will practice the cues of: be surrender, letting thoughts be as they are, and letting go of thoughts we have collapsed upon. This retreat will be a practice in the subtle interplay of thoughts, the spacious heart, and the ground of the heart.

Fr. Justin Lanier
Fr. Justin Lanier is a priest of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont. His formation includes monastic training in St. Benedict's Monastery, Snowmass, under Fr. Thomas Keating and Dom Joseph Boyle, and Tofuku-sodo, Kyoto, Japan, under Keido Fukushima Roshi. Fr. Justin leads intensive contemplative immersion trainings, workshops in Centering Prayer, and classes in contemplative practice and theology.
