The Power of Story: Exploring Hasidic Tales as a Path to Blessing

Contemplative Enrichment Day of Interfaith Understanding

Saturday, October 14, 2023
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET)
Rabbi Rami Shapiro

Humans are by nature storytellers, and we often become the stories we tell. One of the greatest and most liberating stories we tell is God calling Avram and Sarai to leave the conditioning of country, kin, and family to be a blessing to all the families of the earth (Genesis 12:1-3). In this highly interactive exploration of liberating story, Rabbi Rami uses Hasidic song and Hasidic stories and chevruta (small group conversation) on a journey toward being a blessing.

This program will be offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Information on how to access the program on Zoom will be sent to participants in advance.

This program will include a morning and an afternoon session of Centering Prayer.

Offering: $75, includes lunch

Scholarships are available, please contact Mike Smoolca at cce@holyfamilyretreat.org for more information.
