The Gospel of Love: Finding Wholeness with Julian of Norwich in Fragmented Times
Contemplative Enrichment Day
Saturday, May 4, 2024
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET)
Mark S. Burrows, Ph.D.
At the turn of the 15th century, Julian of Norwich received 16 “showings” as a middle-aged woman and spent the rest of her life “beholding” them. She eventually produced a book at once provocative and accessible, expanding these “visions of love.” What Julian offers is a remarkably complex and compelling vision of the immensity of God’s generosity, and the radical call of compassion this calls us to embody in our lives. Join us to explore ways to discover your life held by God’s healing wholeness.
