Bill Heiden is a retreat team member at Holy Family, a historian and a social justice entrepreneur. He teaches history at the University of Hartford and is president of Levo International, a non-profit dedicated to advancing food security and economic progress where it is needed most. He conducts research relating to technology, religion, economic development, and power. He has written for the History News Network, the Hartford Courant and The Activist History Review.
