Reflection for January 6
As a newly confirmed Catholic, this gospel tells me that Baptism is not just a priest baptizing me with water, it is Jesus baptizing me with the Holy Spirit. Confirmation is not just the bishop drawing the sign of the cross on my head, it is God himself actually with me at all times. No matter what else happens, nobody can take that away from me.
