Ukrainian “Songs of Faith & Resistance” Concert

Holy Family is pleased to host the Yevshan Ukrainian Vocal Ensemble for a concert titled “Songs of Faith & Resistance” on Tuesday evening, February 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET. in our main chapel.

The Yevshan Ukrainian Vocal Ensemble, based in Hartford, CT, has performed in concerts and liturgical services throughout the United States and in benefit concerts with Connecticut’s Polish, Jewish, and Lithuanian communities. Active since 1999, the choir has worked in collaboration with Chorale Connecticut, the Yale Slavic Chorus, the Wesleyan and Fordham Concert choirs, and other regional performing arts ensembles.

There is no charge for this concert, though goodwill donations of $20 are encouraged to support the humanitarian aid initiatives of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.

Tax-deductible contributions can be made online at ucufoundation.org/donate/ or sent to:

Common Troubleshooting Tips

  • Remember to tap the “Click to Unmute” button or the “Muted Speaker” icon at the top of the video player. There is also a volume control meter on the bottom right corner of the video player. If you still do not have audio please check your device’s volume settings.

  • Our Livestreamed Masses are a direct reflection of what you would be hearing if you were sitting in the chapel with our worshipping community.

You may also hear the air purification fans running in the background. While they can be a little distracting, they allow us to create the safest atmosphere possible for our in-person guests.

If you find the audio is too soft, you may need to increase the audio on your device or adjust the volume control meter on the bottom right corner of the video player.

  • If your video freezes or you are not getting anything and we have a scheduled Mass or service in progress, try refreshing your browser to reestablish your connection to our live feed.
